Banfield vs Huracan
Banfield is on four league matches without a win (drawing two and losing two) following a 1-1 away draw at CA Central Cordoba last weekend. They have performed an irregular campaign, with 26 points. However, that’s enough to remain safe from relegation threats so far. El Taladro claimed only two home wins in the Superliga, along with four draws and five losses at Florencio Sola Stadium.
Huracan broke an 11-match winless run of three draws and eight defeats in the Superliga last Monday when beating Independiente 1-0 at home thanks to a goal from Norberto Briasco in the second half. However, the team are performing a terrible campaign, sitting in 22th with 19 points. El Globo is without a win in their last seven away league games, drawing two and losing five in a row. Huracan players Rodrigo Gomez and Adrian Calello remain sidelined due to their muscle issues.
Even if Banfield is not very reliable at the moment, the very poor Huracan without Rodrigo Gomez should be in trouble here so I’m going with a home win.
