After starting the league season with three consecutive defeats, Defensa y Justicia is now starting to find their best version. Last weekend, they beat Central Cordoba 2-1 away from home to reach three matches unbeaten (with two victories and one draw). On a sorry note though, El Halcon is yet to win at their own stadium, having collected a single point from nine available without even scoring.
Huracan is now on four league matches without a win, having earned a single point in that time. Last time out, they were dominated by River Plate from beginning to end and lost 4-0 at home. As a result, coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda has been dismissed. El Globo is on five points in the league table and they also are winless on away turf, having drawn to Boca Juniors and lost to Patronato and Newell’s Old Boys.
Defensa is getting back to good form while Huracan is a big mess at the moment, so I’m going with a home win.
