Switzerland vs Iceland

The Swiss will host Iceland on Saturday night. The Swiss did fine at the World Cup getting out of their group but will be very disappointed to have gone out to the limited Swedes, especially when the route to the final they would have faced. The Icelandic team, on the other hand, were very poor. They were outplayed in all games and while some may point to the fact that they were in a difficult group. They faced an Argentine in disarray and were extremely lucky to pick up a point. Argentina had 27 shots to just 8 and 78% possession, then they faced a poor Nigerian side where they were beaten 2-1 and after beaten by a Croatian side that made 10 changes. The Icelandic bubble looks like it has burst and can’t see them getting anything against the Swiss who are maybe a little better than the markets suggest.
