I am going against the grain here today and putting Hearts up as a bet, I believe in a somewhat neutral venue, if you go back a number of weeks ago I’d have certainly made Hearts just value but they have fallen off a cliff of late but I think they have been playing with an eye on this cup final and it was rare that they could name a full 11 either. Their matches over the last number of weeks were the derby matches v Hibs and the cup semifinal and they only lost 1 of them where they were the better side for much of the game. Both sides have a number of injury doubts ahead of the match and both sides rested plenty of players in last week’s match where Celtic only won with a late goal at home to defeat Hearts. Celtic have not looked the part themselves in their last number of matches and they don’t have the excuses Hearts have in that they were aiming to clinch another league title and apart from victories v Aberdeen they have looked very ordinary. They should win but I think it will be an ask to win by 2 goals.
