I am expecting a better clash that I first anticipated for this match today, these sides have seen 15 goals in the 4 previous league games they have played this season, averaging 3.75 goals per game. Reading are playing with full-backs that are pushed right up the pitch and why this is no doubt exciting way of playing football it also gives both defences a lot of problems, they have been allowing teams a lot of space in behind this season due to this style of play and we have seen 4 goals in their first game and 3 in their next. They were not too bad v Hull last weekend and they had chances in the 2nd half to get a point so don’t doubt we will see the same approach in the play today. Cardiff is Cardiff a direct team who playback to front quickly under their manager Neil Warnock and they will expose if there are gaps or space in behind the home team’s defence. To add to the goals argument Cardiff will be without goalkeeper Neil Etheridge and also long terms centre half Sol Bamba, I think the goals are worth a go today and they are value.
