Northern Ireland have shown they are really well suited to playing away from home, under O’Neill they have drawn away to the Czech Republic, drew away to Switzerland and were only beaten 2-0 by a very strong German side in the last world cup qualifiers and beat Hungary and Greece. Since 2014 only 3 of their games have featured 2 goals or more away from home, 2 of those were San Marino where they won 3-0 and the Faore Islands again where they won 3-1 and the other was a 2-1 win away to Hungary. I was impressed with the North’s performance against Germany, they had chance to take the lead and on another night they could have taken something from the match. O’Neill will have them well set up for tonight and i fancy them to give a good show again and keep the scoreline tight. Betting Northern Ireland +2 and also betting the under3 line.
