Superliga Argentina: Boca vs Newell’s Odds for September 28, 2019

SAF Boca Vs. Newell's Asian Connect

Boca Juniors remain as league leaders following a highly-celebrated away win at title contenders San Lorenzo via a 2-0 scoreline through goals from Lisandro Lopez and Jan Hurtado. Gustavo Alfaro’s are still unbeaten in the Superliga and they managed 17 points in seven games without even conceding. At home, Boca booked two victories and one draw this term. Boca Juniors striker Ramon Abila could be ready to return after missing a few games due to a muscle injury. Coach Gustavo Alfaro will pick an alternative XI ahead of next Tuesday’s Copa Libertadores clash against River Plate away.

Newell’s Old Boys beat Aldosivi 2-0 at home in a six-pointer last Sunday. That victory allowed them to continue escaping the relegation zone as the team are now two points above the bottom three in the respective table. La Lepra is on three games unbeaten (winning two of them) and collected 13 points from 18 available in the Superliga (they have one game in hand). However, Newell’s are yet to win on away turf, with one draw and one defeat.

Boca are clearly the best team in the league right now, but Newell’s has improved a lot and considering Boca should be thinking only in their midweek Libertadores Superclasico vs River, it looks like a good chance for the visitors to get something out of this game.
