I am betting Southampton here, I can’t warm to this West Ham United side, they played ok v Arsenal but they’re so soft and allowed a half-interested Arsenal side back into the game midweek when they were 1-0 down and allowed them to go on to win 3-1. Manuel Pellegrini could well be gone shortly a defeat here could be the last straw and with the busy Christmas period coming up West Ham United will feel they may need to have someone who can come in and get them organised and try and get some points over that busy period. West Ham United has not won a game since beating Manchester United 2-0 at home in September that read as 7 losses and 3 draws in the Premier League since that win. They are far too open at the back and far too soft as well. I am betting Southampton take the 3 points tonight so betting Saints -0.5. I am also betting the over goals in this match, I can see both side scoring here today and considering I fancy Southampton and believe there is value in their odds I think the over goals is a bet, Southampton games have featured an average of 3.31 goal, this is probably a better higher than it should be because of the 9 goal defeat by Leicester a few weeks ago but 12 of their games have still featured at least 3 goals so I think it makes sense to get the goals onside.Â
