It was reported by French daily L’Equipe that Brazilian forward Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain was expected to arrive in Paris from Rio de Janeiro last Friday, May 4. Excited Brazilian fans take this as a high possibility of Neymar joining the World Cup this summer in Russia.

A confirmation is yet to be conveyed regarding Neymar’s departure time, as he was not seen at Tom Jobim International Airport on Thursday night. However, he was assumed to have arrived in Paris early Friday.
Neymar’s return won’t make much of an impact for PSG, but Brazil fans are bursting with hopes of him leading Brazil national team in FIFA World Cup for 2018.
On February 25, PSG’s forward broke a bone on his right foot and he has been focusing on getting back on his feet since his March 3rd surgery in Brazil. The most expensive player in football history, costing €220 million, has been walking sans crutches. However, he will not put his physical condition at risk and will not play until his last medical exam on May 17 is done.
As for coach Unai Emery of Paris Saint-Germain, he admitted not speaking with Neymar for weeks because, “[Neymar] needs to be left alone to work with the physios, but we also want him to be with us for the last match.â€
The French club has lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League during Neymar’s absence.
