Superliga Argentina Cup: Lanus vs Belgrano Odds for April 20, 2019

After running out of chances to qualify for the 2020 Copa Sudamericana via the league, Lanus succumbed to their second consecutive defeat last weekend, when losing at Belgrano 3-2 and they will need to win here to keep their hope alive. However, El Granate holds an impressive home run, having not lost any of their last seven games at Nestor Diaz Perez Stadium (six wins, one draw).
Just after getting relegated, Belgrano made their debut in the Superliga Cup with a convincing 3-2 home victory over Lanus and will face Velez Sarsfield in the next round if they avoid the defeat here. In fact, it was their second consecutive win since losing to Lanus 3-1 away in March. El Pirata is yet to win on away turf this term as they booked six draws and six losses on the road. Belgrano coach Julio Constantin will be without Federico Lertora, who reached the yellow-card limit and is suspended.
Lanus must win to avoid elimination and not being able to do it at home against a team that was relegated recently would be humiliating so I expect them to go all forward to get what they need. Belgrano could be in trouble without their best defensive midfielder Lertora so I expect an open game here.
