Rangers vs St. Mirren

Rangers have started the season very well and look a much-improved outfit under Steven Gerrard, they only drew with Aberdeen last weekend but that point did not do them justice as they played Aberdeen off the park with a man less for nearly the whole match and only conceded a goal in injury time, which was Aberdeen’s first shot on target of the game.

St Mirren, on the other hand, are a side that has lost a lot of players and key players during the summer as well as their manager Jack Ross to Sunderland and look a weaker team than they were at the end of last season. They beat Dundee last weekend at home but they were very fortunate to do so. I fancy Rangers to put them in their place and the Gers should be buoyed by the fact Rangers with a win can go above their rivals Celtic which even this early in the season will mean something.
