Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

Arsenal is on a super run of form but it surely can’t continue much longer after 11 wins on the bounce and the impression is that they have been fortunate in some if not a lot of those matches. A look at their stats is quite revealing, they have been giving up some major changes and they have been very clinical at the other end converting what chances they get. The rank 4th in shots per game on target but have scored the 2nd most goals but are only 10th in actual shots, their defensive stats tell a similar story where they have conceded the 6th most amount of shots per game in the league this season and the 7th most on target but have only conceded the 6th least amount of goals conceded (All stats before Yesterday’s matches). These stats lead me to believe Arsenal are converting chances way above the norm and conceding far fewer goals than what would normally be expected given the shots to goals rate, basically the conversion rates are too high and too low at both ends of the pitch, this will change and hopefully today. Arsenal played on Thursday night in Lisbon, they rested some players but Thursday to Sunday game are not ideal in terms of preparation. Crystal Palace could and maybe should have taken something in Goodison last Sunday, they eventually went down 2-0 but I think they can bounce back today. I am betting Palace +0.75 goals.
