Celtic vs Aberdeen

Aberdeen are in contention with Celtic’s arch rivals to finish 2nd in the SPL and also land a themselves into a higher Europa league round for next season. Rangers could be a bigger danger to Celtic next season, than they were this season, with Steven Gerrard coming in as manager and the club probably having more money.

So Celtic could look upon it as a good thing if Aberdeen do finish 2nd as it could mean Rangers’s season starts in early July, meaning they will have a quite a long season. Of course big clubs don’t usually lie down at home but if it meant harming Rangers there would be very little objections from the Celtic support. I’m going for Aberdeen to get something from this and going on the +1.25 line.
