Defensa y Justicia vs Arsenal
Defensa y Justicia’s four-match winning streak has been stopped last Saturday, when the side lost at Newell’s Old Boys 1-0. The side weren’t able to repeat their performances in the previous weeks and returned home empty-handed. El Halcon remain on 41 points and will clinch their third consecutive Copa Sudamericana ticket if they beat Arsenal on Saturday. Juan Pablo Vojvoda’s men won their last two home games over Racing Club and Rosario Central.
Arsenal has been relegated some weeks ago, and today they say goodbye to 1st division. They beat Rosario Central at home a week ago, but on Thursday they lost 2-0 at Racing going back to their usual poor performances.
Defensa is clearly the more motivated and better team here, they want to secure a Copa Sudamericana place and they shouldn’t have much problems to do it.

Olimpo vs Talleres
Lucas Mancinelli’s strike in the 88th minute of the game allowed Olimpo to stop an eight-match losing streak on away turf following a 1-1 draw at Atletico Tucuman in Dario Bonjour’s debut as interim boss. However, El Aurinegro are on nine games without a win (with just two points in that time) and remain bottom in the league table on 14 points. They are already relegated since several weeks ago.
Talleres remain out of the Copa Libertadores spots after their scoreless home draw in a six-pointer against Huracan last Saturday.
In an intense game, they weren’t able to beat goalkeeper Marcos Diaz and had to settle for a point. The team from Cordoba are sixth-placed on 45 points, what means that on this last round they must win and hope that either Huracan or Independiente don’t.
Despite their poor run lately Talleres is the better team and they are in a must win situation so it’s now or never for them.

Belgrano vs Temperley
Belgrano have been displaced from the Copa Sudamericana places following their 2-0 away defeat to San Lorenzo.
It was an even game, but the hosts were more effective to claim three points. As a result, El Pirata stopped their three-game winning streak and remain on 40 points in the league table. However, they are still unbeaten at their own stadium this season, having claimed five victories and seven draws.
Temperley are relegated since weeks ago, and they have only 1 win in the last 14 games, a 2-1 against fellow relegated team Chacarita.
Nothing to play for them here and considering their recent awful performances it’s hard to see how they will find any motivation.
Belgrano must win and hope for other results, but their chances of securing a Copa Sudamericana spot are big and they need to start by getting the 3 points against one of the worst teams in the league.
