FC Koln host RB Leipzig tonight, Leipzig are currently in 5th in the Bundesliga and are competing for champions league qualification with Gladbach and Leverkusen. They play a Koln side who have stuttered since the re-start but are an exciting team and they caught the eye prior to the league being stopped in March and they can certainly create chances against this Leipzig who are missing a number of midfielders. I have to admit I was disappointed with Leipzig v Hertha, yes Hertha are on a fine run of form you might say but they looked quite ordinary at the weekend v Augsburg and were fortunate to win, I think some of Leipzig’s substandard performance v Hertha must be put down to the fact they were missing central striker Poulsen, for tonight they are also missing defenders Halstenberg, Konate and Ampadu while defensive midfielder Kampl is a doubt. Koln will have to do without Bornauw but experienced midfielder Hector should come back in after starting from the bench the last day because of fitness issues. I think while Leipzig has the more motivation I think it is factored into Koln odds tonight and I think it is more than a fair for having interest on Koln, I think Koln can cause Leipzig serious problems and this should be a decent game to watch.
