I am betting Eintracht Frankfurt to continue on their good run of form when they face Mainz 05 today, Mainz are winless in 5 games and since the re-start, the only game they have performed to any standard in was away Koln when they came from 2 down to draw 2-2 but in that game, it could be argued that Koln poor defence made them look like a decent side. Frankfurt is hitting form at the right time of the season and has dragged themselves away from the relegation zone, they can take a huge step to cement their safety if they can pick up the 3 points today. The team news is in favour of the home side as well with Hack being a doubt while Baku, Ji and Zenter are out injured, the only negative and it is a slight negative is that Eintracht played midweek but that may not be a bad thing with teams still trying to reach peak fitness. I am betting Eintracht to get the win, yes it a local derby but I think the odds are terrific and worth a go.
