Racing vs Rosario Central
Even though coach Eduardo Coudet rotated many players, Racing Club did not find difficulties to beat Patronato 3-0 in Parana last time out, producing a convincing performance. With seven points in three weeks, La Academia is now trailing leaders Rosario Central by two. The side celebrated seven wins in their last nine home matches in the Superliga, succumbing to two losses. On Wednesday, Racing lost 3-0 at River Plate in the Copa Libertadores, which means they were knocked out.
After finishing last season in 20th, Rosario Central is now enjoying life under boss Edgardo Bauza. Last Sunday, El Canalla beat San Martin Tucuman 2-0 at home with Washington Camacho and Fernando Zampedri scoring. The team stay at the top of the Superliga table on nine points and without even conceding. Central won at Talleres two weeks ago to stop a six-game winless away run in the Superliga (two draws, four defeats).
After the midweek awful result mood is not the best at Racing and due to some tiredness, their coach will leave some important players on the bench. Rosario Central and their perfect 3 wins in 3 matches record won’t have any missings and will repeat the same lineup as in previous weeks.
Racing seems too favourite and I like the chances of the league leaders of getting something from this game.
