San Martin de Tucuman vs Colon

San Martin de Tucuman rescued an away point in Parana at Patronato following a 3-3 draw after trailing 3-0 at halftime. Even though El Ciruja is still occupying one of the drop spots, the team are showing great improvements in the last weeks: they claimed two victories and two draws in the last four games to accumulate 12 points in total and they only lost to Independiente in the process. San Martin is still unbeaten at home, registering four draws and two wins in a row.

Meanwhile, Colon is on three winless matches in the Superliga (collecting two points from nine available) after drawing 1-1 with Estudiantes at home two weeks ago. El Sabalero has been deflating their performances lately and that resulted in coach Eduardo Dominguez’s resignation after the last league game. Colon is on 14 points in the table and they haven’t yet claimed any victories on the road (two draws, four defeats).

San Martin Tucuman is tough to beat at home and Colon are terrible when they leave Santa Fe. Home win.
