After a three-game winning streak in the league, Racing Club earned an important away point at Colon following a 1-1 draw, with Dario Cvitanich netting the equaliser two minutes from time. La Academia remains as Superliga leaders on 52 points (one above second-placed Defensa y Justicia), having claimed 32 from the last 39 on offer. Racing also holds the best home record in Argentinian top flight, with nine victories and two draws. In fact, they are on four home wins in a row at Presidente Peron Stadium.
Belgrano managed to put an end to their ten-match winless streak of seven draws and three defeats by beating fellow relegation candidates Patronato 3-0 at home. That victory means they are now level with their last opponents and San Martin SJ in the relegation table (only one of them would stay in the top flight). El Pirata managed 21 points this term, but they are yet to win on away turf following six draws and four losses.
Racing Club seems unstoppable at home and Belgrano are terrible travellers so I expect an easy home win.
