Huracan has dropped down to the 10th spot of the Superliga table following their third consecutive defeat. It was a 3-1 home loss to San Martin Tucuman last weekend when coach Antonio Mohamed fielded an alternative XI. El Globo accumulated 32 points this term, but only two of those were claimed in the last six league games. Huracan lost their last two games at Tomas Adolfo Duco Stadium after booking four wins and five draws prior beforehand. They visited Emelec in Ecuador in the Copa Libertadores in midweek, drawing 0-0.
Meanwhile, Estudiantes broke a three-match losing streak in the best possible way: they celebrated a 1-0 home victory against Gimnasia LP in the city derby, with Lucas Albertengo netting the winner in the first half. However, El Pincha’s campaign has been poor so far: after collecting 24 points, their only aim in the remaining three rounds is to improve their meagre point average for next season. They also are on seven winless games on away turf, having lost four of them (including the last three).
Huracan is experiencing trouble, there are already rumours of another coaching change, while Estudiantes are in a much better mood after winning the derby last week, so I have to go with the visitors getting something from this game.
