Mali have looked like a decent side so far in this tournament, they topped their group, they seem to play on the front foot and they rested players in the previous match v Angola and still won. However I think there has been a slight overreaction to them at the same time their squad has nothing like the quality of the Ivory Coast and at the odds I think the Ivory Coast is a bet for today’s game, their side contains players from Lyon, Toulouse, Ac Milan and Crystal Palace although Zaha is likely to move to Arsenal this summer for between £40 and £50 million. I just think -0.25 at odds against is value for a bet on a team like this playing against a side like Mali. As well as that I like the over goals, again we see a line of just 1.75 goals and with so many attacking players on the show I think it is a straight forward bet, between both sides in their group stage matches they saw an average of 2.5 goals scored, this is very high even at this stage of the tournament and I can only see goals again today, so I make the over 1.75 goals a value punt at current odds.
