Ghana plays Benin in tonight’s late match in the African nations cup and it is the only one of any interest betting wise for me. I am tempted to take on Ghana here at the current odds with Benin +0.75, I don’t believe the Ghana camp is a happy one, there was a row over the captaincy of the team only last week when Asamoah Gyan walked out of the squad for a short period. Benin is not a bad side they beat Algeria 1-0 in the qualification group and are a side built on defense first, conceding only 6 goals in the qualifiers although what is off-putting is they only scored 5, they will come looking for a point here tonight. I can see Ghana having issues breaking them down, Benin will expect to win their middle match to produce a big showdown with Cameroon, anything out of this match will be seen as a bonus and that approach in this heat makes the unders a bet which I am happy to rely on for today’s action.
