There are 40 places between these sides on the ELO rating system while there are 61 places between them on the FIFA ratings, either way, there is a massive difference between the sides and I think Mali can rubber stamp that today on the -0.25 handicap. I have been impressed with them so far and have looked like a decent side going forward. Angola played 2nd best in their draw v Mauritania with only 5 attempts to 6 for Mauritania. I think Mali would rather be the runner up in this group but if they lost they could potentially face Egypt and the same go for Tunisia, I think all sides will be trying to win their matches and see what happens after that and I think Mali is valued currently on the -0.25 line. Again while a draw is not the worst result for either side I can’t see why Mali would not attack from the outset.
