“Attending a matchday at Anfield is an unforgettable experience. Seeing their reaction to the crowds and the atmosphere is priceless.â€
Liverpool players, Andy Robertson and Ben Woodburn, were both reported to have excused themselves from their pre-season training to participate in the dramatic draw.
Robertson was quoted as saying, “It’s great to be part of this initiative, which enables young local fans to experience a matchday at Anfield.
“The stadium has an unbelievable atmosphere, so they’ll have an amazing experience no matter which game they attend.â€
The Red Neighbours mission also targets other areas such as “food poverty and education; creating a physically active community; and support for the elderly community.â€
