Manchester City easily over came Cardiff in the cup at the weekend while West Brom caused an upset despite going off +1.75 underdogs away at Liverpool. West Brom may have caused themselves some trouble by playing a slightly stronger team than many expected 30 and with the 0 result they had 2 players who went off injured while key defender Johnny Evans was down to 1 leg as was midfielder Jake Livermore, added to this that McCauley and Field are already doubts for the trip to Manchester while Gibbs, Chadli, Morrison and Robson-Kanu are all ruled out, it is easy to see West Brom look stretched at the moment in terms of fit players that are available. They also have a massive relegation match v Southampton on the horizon so Pardew will want a fully fit side for that match and with this we may see them sacrifice their match v City tomorrow night. All in all i feel City are the bet, i have them as value as it is and with fact that West Brom may be prioritising their game v Southampton at the weekend i am happy to go for a home win on the -2 line.
