Aberdeen v Kilmarnock

Aberdeen entertain the much improved Killmarnock side, a team that has come on leaps and bounds since the arrival of manager Steve Clark, however a deeper read into their form will show they were lucky to get some positive results of late they have got, certainly they should have got nothing from their trip to Hibs, they were some what fortunate to beat Rangers at home, they just about over came a injury hit Motherwell side again and they were 4 minutes from defeat v poorly Ross County when evergreen striker Kris Boyd leveled to make it 2-2 draw. However there is another reason i believe Aberdeen may be a bet and that is Killie have not played a league match in nearly a month, they have played in the Scottish cup in that time but their recent league match at home to St Johnstone was postponed, it might be worth taking a chance on Aberdeen being sharper and forgiving them for their midweek performance away at Rangers on a line that would have been much bigger at the start of the season.

Liverpool v West Brom

Liverpool host West Brom in the cup and the early inclination is that Liverpool will treat this more seriously than West Brom, West Brom’s manager has already said their is a flu bug in the camp and with them in the relagation zone and having a midweek match v Man city as well as a massive game the following weekend at home to Southampton it is easy to see why many predict we will see a weakend West Brom side. Liverpool won’t have many better chances of silveware this season and they should go quite strong for this match at home.

Cardiff v Man City

I can’t help but have a go at Man City here in this 4th round FA cup match, they are a squad brimming with class against a Cardiff side who are doing very well to be where they are in the championship, yes City will make changes but they are so far ahead in the league they can afford to rest players in the league match v West Brom. Either way i believe the prices compensates for the changes that will be made and i am going to have a go at City -1.5 at the current odds.
