Atletico Nacional ended in the fifth spot of the aggregate table in Colombian 2019 league season and will participate in the Copa Sudamericana for the ninth time, having finished as runners up on three occasions. Last Saturday, coach Juan Carlos Osorio rotated his players and the side lost 2-1 at home to Jaguares de Cordoba. The team had won both previous matches in the league, so they are on six points, one behind leaders America and Junior. The aforementioned defeat stopped a six-game unbeaten run at home (three wins, three draws).
Huracan was tenth-placed in the Argentine 2018-19 season and will start their third campaign in this competition (runners-up in 2015). But they are living a completely different reality at the moment. After their 1-1 home draw with Gimnasia LP last Friday, El Globo is now occupying 20th spot on 16 points, having failed to win their last eight games (three draws and five defeats). On away turf, the side is on five without a win, drawing two and losing the last three.
I think Atletico Nacional should have enough to take advantage of Huracan’s crisis.
