Copa Libertadores: Velez vs Nacional Odds for April 26, 2022

Velez vs Nacional

Velez Sarsfield registered a 2-2 home draw against Red Bull Bragantino in week two, which means they earned a single point in two games in the Copa Libertadores (three behind the qualifying zone). Last Saturday, the side also drew 1-1 against Barracas Central (away at Huracan). El Fortin continue performing quite irregularly in the league, with 12 points in as many matches so far. In fact, the team are on six winless matches in all competitions, drawing four and losing two. Three of those took place at Estadio Jose Amalfitani, with Velez recording two stalemates and one defeat since beating Lanus on April 2nd.

Meanwhile, Nacional had to settle for a scoreless stalemate against Estudiantes at home, which represented their first point in two matches in the 2022 Copa Libertadores. On Friday, Pablo Repetto’s men managed to beat Cerro Largo 2-0 away to make it 16 points in ten games in league action, trailing Torneo Apertura leaders Deportivo Maldonado by six. El Bolso have been unbeaten in their last four competitive games, winning two and drawing two, and also are on two consecutive successes on away turf.

Velez has been terrible so far this season, they are still under an interim coach that will be out soon, so I have to oppose them again.
