I am betting the unders here, i wanted to originally bet Wigan +0.5 as well as the under 2.5 but the +0.5 has been bet this morning so i am just betting the under 2.5 goals. Diedhiou is suspended for the home team who is their 2nd top scorer, while Afobe who is Bristol’s main goal threat has not played since August, Semenyo was poor midweek v Charlton and probably won’t get a start meaning that the recently joined Rodri who has been without a club for most of the season and only made his debut midweek may start, so i think a fair argument can be made that they may struggle a bit more up front as the new man will need time to find his feet at the club. Added to that Wigan’s winger Nathan Byrne is suspended and Mulgrew who takes a lot of set pieces for the Latics is out injured. It feels like it is all pointing towards a unders match and a lower goal expectancy that what this match may have been expected to have. Wigan matches have also only featured 2.08 goals and i think it makes sense to bet the Under 2.5 goals scored. Â
