Union – Racing

Union Santa Fe recently-appointed coach Gustavo Munua managed his first win at the club last Saturday when the team beat Sarmiento 4-3 away with a brace from winger Gaston Gonzalez. Overall, El Tatengue won three and lost only one of their last four games to make it 21 points in the Liga Profesional, which allows them to approach the Copa Sudamericana spots in the 2021 aggregate table. El Tatengue have been irregular at home in this competition, registering three victories, one draw and four defeats.

Racing Club played one of their worst games this season last Friday, when they succumbed to a 1-0 home defeat to newly-promoted side Platense. The team are producing a poor campaign in the league, accumulating 22 points after claiming a single victory across the last nine games (five draws and three losses). In fact, La Academia could even miss the Copa Sudamericana in 2022 if their performance continues decreasing.

Racing are just getting worse every week and they should have problems against this solid Union.
