Sarmiento vs Independiente Rivadavia
Independiente Rivadavia secured a valuable point last weekend, when they ended up drawing 0-0 at home against Godoy Cruz in a heated derby. As a result, Martin Cicotello’s men made it four points in two rounds of Liga Profesional action. However, La Lepra remain bottom in the point-average table, trailing Deportivo Riestra by four points, after winning only one of their last 13 league games (three draws and nine defeats). Independiente won 2-0 at Lanus in their last away match to break a six-game winless streak of two draws and four losses as the visiting side. Centre back Bruno Bianchi succumbed to a muscle injury against Godoy Cruz and will miss out on Sunday.
Another game where I like the low totals line. They are both desperate for points, Independiente Rivadavia are last in the averages table and they would be relegated if the season finished today, while Sarmiento is not far away. Sarmiento looked decent in their first two games of the season where they scored 3 goals and since neither can afford a defeat here I expect that one goal should open things up.
