San Lorenzo vs Central Cordoba
San Lorenzo showed a terrible performance on their visit to Colon last Monday and succumbed to a 2-0 away defeat. That means the team remain on three points in group A and also that they lost three of the last four league matches. In fact, the only success in that span (over Sarandi Arsenal at home two weeks ago) broke a negative streak of four home matches without a win (two draws and two defeats).
CA Central Cordoba managed their first three points in the 2021 season by beating Atletico Tucuman 2-1 away thanks to goals from Milton Gimenez and Leonardo Sequeira, who were making their debuts after arriving from second-tier sides Atlanta and Belgrano respectively. That success allowed them to take a breather in the points average table and make it seven points from the last 12 on offer in league action, only losing to Colon across the last four games. Â

As irregular as San Lorenzo has been lately, they should have enough to beat this Central Cordoba that will miss at least 3 starters at home.
