Rosario Central vs Barracas Central
Rosario Central are now living a crisis. After their terrible loss in the Copa Argentina, the team registered their second consecutive league defeat last Monday, when losing to Tigre 3-1 away. Following that result, El Canalla remain on 14 points in 12 matches in the Liga Profesional, a poor campaign that could compromise their top-flight status in the future. On a positive note, they grabbed ten of those points at home following three victories, one draw and two losses in this competition.
Barracas Central put up a good fight against Racing Club (the best team in the 2022 aggregate table) and secured a valuable 0-0 draw playing as hosts at All Boys. As a result, El Guapo remain unbeaten under interim coach Sergio Ramos, having registered one victory and two draws so far. The team accumulated 14 points in 12 matches in the Liga Profesional, which allows them to stay away from potential relegation threats.
Even if Barracas comes from a scoreless draw I still rate them as a poor defensive team, specially when playing away, and against this desperate Rosario Central we should see an open game with goals.
