Lanus – Estudiantes

Lanus couldn’t hold onto their lead last Monday and they had to settle for a 1-1 away stalemate at San Lorenzo after taking the first lead. As a result, El Granate secured a single point from six on offer in the Liga Profesional, which keeps them out of the Copa Sudamericana spots in the aggregate table. In fact, Ricardo Zielinski’s men are on five league games without a win (two stalemates and three losses). At home, Lanus took two points from the last 15 available in domestic action.

Estudiantes keep their standards up. Lanus looked weak in the first two games, losing at home against a relegation candidate like Independiente Rivadavia and they’ve been terrible at home lately getting just 2 points in the last 5 league games, so I’ll trust the visitors to win and continue perfect here.
