Huracan vs Rosario Central
Coach Diego Dabove started life at Huracan in a sorry way: the team lost 2-0 away at Racing Club following a poor performance. Therefore, the side made it two consecutive defeats in league action and wasted a big chance of approaching the continental spots in the aggregate table, having grabbed 18 points in 15 matches this season so far. At home, El Globo won their last game (over Rosario Central 2-1 in May) to break a three-match winless streak of one draw and two losses at hosts.
Rosario Central showed a worrying version in their debut in the Liga Profesional last Monday, when they had to settle for a scoreless home draw against Lanus. The team continue performing irregularly, having managed 15 points in as many matches this season. However, El Canalla lost only one of their last four league games, winning two and drawing one in that spell. On a sorry note, Central are on four consecutive defeats as the visiting side since beating CA Central Cordoba 1-0 in March.
From what they showed in the 1st round, it’s going to be a long and tough semester for Rosario Central as they will have to adjust to play without their all time top scorer who retired. Huracan is not a great team but at home they should take advantage of this poor rival.
