Defensa y Justicia vs Argentinos Jrs
Defensa y Justicia are still finding trouble to show their best version. Last time out, the team were dominated for most of the time and returned home empty-handed following a 1-0 away loss at Talleres. Coach Sebastian Beccacece left the club after the game. That result means El Halcon claimed a single victory across their last eight league games (drawing three and losing four) and accumulated only 19 points in 18 games in the Liga Profesional.
Argentinos Juniors finally put an end to a three-match winless run of one draw and two defeats (without even scoring) last Thursday, when beating Rosario Central 2-1 at home thanks to goals from Kevin Mac Allister and Gaston Veron. El Bicho accumulated 30 points in the Liga Profesional, trailing leaders Boca Juniors by five after 18 rounds, and remain only two points behind the last Copa Libertadores berth in the aggregate table.
Argentinos finally ended their bad run with a win last weekend and they should continue on this path if they want to fight for the championship.
