Colon vs Talleres
Defending champions Colon managed a hard-fought 2-1 away success at San Lorenzo last Monday, when Paolo Goltz and Eric Meza found the back of the net. Having lost only one of their last six league matches (along with two victories and three draws), Eduardo Dominguez’s men made it 23 points in the Liga Profesional to move up to eighth spot of the league table.
After their slump at Defensa y Justicia, Talleres produced an excellent recovery last Monday, when they managed to beat Atletico Tucuman 2-0 at home thanks to goals from Nahuel Tenaglia and Michael Santos. Having won nine of their last 12 league matches (along with two draws and a single defeat), the team remain second-placed in the Liga Profesional on 32 points, trailing leaders River Plate by one.
Colon is a good team but Talleres is in superb form and should win here.
