Central Cordoba vs Huracan
CA Central Cordoba fans will have felt frustrated last Monday, when the team wasted a 2-0 lead and had to settle for a 2-2 away draw at Colon in an entertaining game. That result means El Ferroviario extended their winless streak to four league games, with two stalemates and two defeats in that time. Following that run, Leonardo Madelon’s men accumulated 20 points in 18 rounds in the Liga Profesional, which places them only two points above the first relegation spot in the point-average table, occupied by Platense.
Huracan seem to be starting to go through a crisis. Last Monday, the team wasted several goalscoring chances and succumbed to an unlucky 1-0 home loss to Union Santa Fe, who were bottom-placed before the game. That result extended their winless streak to four league games (two stalemates and two losses) without even scoring. Therefore, El Globo remain on 18 points in as many matches in the Liga Profesional this term, just three above their last opponents (who are currently losing their top-flight status via the aggregate table). On away turf, Huracan are on eight domestic games without a win, drawing three and losing five.
Central Cordoba are not the most reliable team right now but Huracan has been just awful as they didn’t show any improvements at all since the coach change and they are starting to get in relegation trouble, so I’ll go here with the hosts and these great odds on them.
