Banfield vs Colon
Banfield continue to improve under coach Javier Sanguinetti. Last time out, last term’s runners-up managed to beat Sarandi Arsenal 2-0 away from home thanks to a brace from midfielder Giuliano Galoppo, who has already netted three strikes in two matches. Therefore, El Taladro took all six points this season so far (topping group A table along with Colon and Estudiantes) and extended their unbeaten run to four league games, having won three and drawn one in regular time.
Colon climbed into the top of group A table, having taken all six points so far as well as Banfield and Estudiantes. Last Monday, they managed to beat San Lorenzo 2-0 at home with Alexis Castro and Tomas Sandoval finding the back of the net. El Sabalero won three of their last four league matches, only losing to Talleres in that span. The team remain unbeaten on away turf since coach Eduardo Dominguez’s arrival, having registered five victories and two draws.
