Atletico Tucuman vs Tigre
Atletico Tucuman showed slight improvements on their visit to Argentinos Juniors and secured a valuable point following a scoreless away draw in an entertaining match last Monday. Even though El Decano are now on three league games without a win (one stalemate and two defeats), they continue to produce a remarkable campaign in the Liga Profesional, accumulating 26 points so far. Atletico lost 4-2 to Belgrano in their last home match after nine games unbeaten at Estadio Jose Fierro (six wins and three draws). Left back Juan Infante remains sidelined due to a muscle problem. Tigre have a lot of work to do in order to stay in the top flight. Last Tuesday, the team just rescued a home point as a product of a 1-1 stalemate against Independiente after conceding first. Therefore, El Matador are now winless in their last three in the league, drawing two and losing one. Accumulating 18 points in the Liga Profesional, Sebastian Dominguez’s men remain bottom-placed in the aggregate table, trailing CA Central Cordoba and Sarmiento by five. Tigre won only one of the last four as the visiting side, along with one stalemate and two defeats.
Atletico Tucuman has scored at least once in each of their 8 home games this season and here they will face Tigre, one of the worst defenses in the league who are last in the aggregate table and are in big danger of relegation so I expect to see an open game with at least a couple of goals.
