Atletico Tucuman vs Independiente Rivadavia
Atletico Tucuman are starting to show improvements lately. Last Monday, the team managed a convincing 2-0 away success over Barracas Central at Huracan, with Luis Rodriguez and Gino Peruzzi scoring. El Decano made it 13 points in Liga Profesional action and six matches unbeaten in this competition (winning two and drawing four) to extend their gap over the relegation spot in the aggregate table to 11 points. Atletico remain without defeat in the last six at home, with three victories and three draws. Mateo Coronel is still affected by a muscle problem.
Independiente Rivadavia continue to improve. Last weekend, the newcomers played an interesting game to beat Independiente 1-0 at home, with Sebastian Villa netting the winner in the first half. La Lepra made it three league matches unbeaten, winning two and drawing one without even conceding to accumulate 14 points in eight Liga Profesional rounds, just four behind leaders Huracan. In fact, they are now level with Deportivo Riestra in the relegation spot of the point-average table. On away turf, Martin Cicotello’s men lost only one of their last six, along with two victories and three draws.
Atletico Tucuman has scored at least once in their last 7 games (and 6 of them had at least two goals), Independiente Rivadavia looks improved in attack lately with colombian Sebastian Villa, so I’ll go for the OVER here.
