Aldosivi – Rosario Central

Aldosivi secured their fourth consecutive victory in the Copa Liga Profesional, when beating Lanus 2-1 away thanks to goals from Martin Cauteruccio and Leandro Maciel. Having accumulated 16 points in this competition, the team are third-placed in group B and also opened an eight-point gap over the relegation zone in the respective table. At home, Martin Palermo’s men are on three games unbeaten, having won two and drawn one since losing to Boca Juniors in round two.

Rosario Central continue struggling. Last Friday, the team registered a 2-2 home draw against Colon to make it four league matches without a win (one stalemate and three losses). El Canalla are occupying the penultimate spot in group B on eight points, almost without chances of fighting for a ticket to the playoffs. On away turf, Central earned four points in as many games this term, having won one, drawn one and lost two.

Can’t understand the odds here, why this awful Rosario Central without their best striker (Marco Ruben) due to injury would be almost favorites against a red hot team like this Aldosivi, so I’m definitely taking the hosts here.
