Huracan vs Platense
Platense are performing one of their best campaigns in the club’s history. Last weekend, they secured a massive 1-0 home success over Sarmiento with Ronaldo Martinez netting the winner in the first half and climbed into fourth spot in the group B table on 20 points following CA Central Cordoba’s away defeat to San Lorenzo. El Calamar also put an end to their four-match winless streak of three stalemates and one loss in league action.
Quarterfinals of the Copa de la Liga are here and all matches are played in neutral ground so there’s no home advantage, but Huracan arrived at this game in great form, no missings for them and I imagine they should get past this Platense that overperformed this season and getting here is probably more than enough for them.
