San Martin de San Juan – Rosario Central

San Martín SJ showed slight improvement compared to their debut last Tuesday and secured a valuable goalless draw in a dull match against Deportivo Riestra away from home. That result earned them their first point in the Torneo Apertura after two rounds. Raúl Antuña’s team have won two, drawn one, and lost two of their last five league matches. Additionally, they broke a three-game unbeaten streak at home (two wins and one draw) in the opening round, losing 1-0 to Atlético Tucumán. The entire squad is fit to play on Saturday.

Rosario Central maintain a high level at the start of the year. On Tuesday, the team defeated Lanús 2-1 at home through an excellent performance, with goals scored by Jaminton Campaz and Ignacio Malcorra. With this result, they secured six points from the first two rounds in the Torneo Apertura, leading Group B so far. Ariel Holan’s side have now won three consecutive league matches and have lost only one of their last six away games in this competition, winning two and drawing three in that spell. All starters are available for the trip to San Juan. Coach Ariel Holan will repeat the XI.

Rosario Central has looked good so far winning both games and showing some solid attacking performances so even if San Martin couldn’t score yet, that can’t last long and this very low totals line is worth a bet.
