Argentine Primera Division: Tigre – Belgrano Odds for June 13, 2024

Tigre – Belgrano

Tigre continue to get worse match after match. Last time out, the team were unable to stop River Plate’s offensive power and ended up losing 3-1 away. As a result, El Matador remain on a single point after four Liga Profesional rounds and also made it ten league matches without a win, drawing one and losing nine. Following that streak, Sebastian Dominguez’s men remain bottom in the aggregate table, trailing CA Central Cordoba by five points at the moment. To make matters worse, Tigre lost their last five matches at Estadio Jose Dellagiovanna

Belgrano showed a great display of effort last time out, when they secured a massive 1-0 home success over Argentinos Juniors after playing with ten men since the 38th minute. El Pirata made it two consecutive victories in the Liga Profesional to accumulate seven points in four matches in this competition (still far away from the continental spots in the aggregate rankings). Belgrano lost 3-0 to River Plate in their last road game in domestic action, stopping a three-match unbeaten run of two victories and one draw in the league on away turf.

Tigre are bound to get relegated unless they miraculously improve and start winning games, which looks impossible according to how they’ve played all this year. To make things worse, today they won’t have playmaker Gonzalo Maroni who has been one of their few good players, so I’ll trust Belgrano here to at least not to lose.
