Belgrano had a happy night last Saturday, when they played their best game of the season to beat Union Santa Fe 3-0 away. Through that success, El Pirata made it 15 points in ten matches in the Liga Profesional, which keeps them safe from relegation threats, after losing only one of their last five games (along with two victories and two draws). On a sorry note, Guillermo Farre’s men are on three games without a win as the hosting side, drawing two and losing one without even scoring. However, Belgrano will return to their own stadium on Wednesday after playing all their home matches this term at Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes.
Huracan continue finding trouble to claim victories in the league. Last Sunday, the team were dominated from beginning to end and succumbed to a deserved 3-0 home defeat to league leaders River Plate, a result that extended their winless streak to six league games (two draws and four losses).
