Lanus vs Patronato

Lanus managed a valuable point on their visit to Atletico Tucuman following a scoreless draw two weeks ago. However, the side remains bottom in the league table on just three points, which also means El Granate will be really threatened by relegation if they don’t improve (they hold a nine-point gap over Belgrano in the respective table). Lanus is also the worst home side this term, having earned a single point from 12 available and lost the last three games.

After their first league victory over Talleres, Patronato suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 home defeat to Independiente even playing against ten men during over 30 minutes as the visitors had to deal with four injuries. Mario Sciacqua’s men remain on four points and continue occupying one of the relegation spots, three points behind San Martin SJ who are safe so far. The side lost all three matches on away turf this term.

The two worst teams in the league will meet each other on Saturday, both desperate for a win, I think we can see goals here.
