Rosario Central vs San Martin

Rosario Central continue to improve since boss Edgardo Bauza returned to the club. Last weekend, Fernando Zampedri’s strike in the second half gave the team a valuable 1-0 victory over Talleres, which stopped a six-game winless run on the road in the Superliga. After finishing in 20th last term (and winless in the last five games), Central is now on six points in the first two weeks. El Canalla grabbed ten points from the last 15 available at Gigante de Arroyito Stadium, just losing to Racing Club in that time.

San Martin Tucuman fans have felt sorry for themselves after clinching only a 1-1 home draw with Union Santa Fe last weekend as the team were close to celebrating a victory on their return to the top flight. However, they conceded in the 82nd minute and had to settle for a point. El Ciruja has succumbed to a single defeat in their last six league games (two wins, three draws).

Both teams will have their best players available and even though Rosario Central has won both games so far only 1-0, they did it against poor attacking teams. I expect this one to be more open and I like the chance of having at least 2 goals.
