Patronato vs Lanus

Patronato have nothing to play for in the remaining two games of the Copa Liga Profesional. Last Sunday, the side lost 2-1 at Defensa y Justicia to continue occupying the bottom spot in the Fase Complementacion’s group A without any points. El Patron are winless in their last 11 matches in the top flight, with two draws and nine defeats in that time.

Lanus dropped down to fourth place in the Fase Complementacion’s group A on four points following their 2-0 away defeat at Union Santa Fe last Tuesday. Therefore, the team claimed a single victory in their last four top-flight matches, drawing one and losing two. On away turf, Luis Zubeldia’s men secured seven points in five games in this competition as a product of two victories, one draw and two defeats. All regulars are available for Sunday, but coach Luis Zubeldia will pick an alternative XI ahead of next Wednesday’s game at Velez Sarsfield in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana’s semi-finals.

Nothing to play for these two here, Lanus with a mixed lineup and Patronato is unreliable but I have to expect an open game between two relaxed teams.
