I am betting under 3 goals here, Russia have only scored 13 goals so far and defensively they are solid only conceding just 5, their games are averaging 2.25 goals per match, on the other hand Cyprus’s games are averaging even less goals with an average of just 2 goals a game. The way i see this game being played out is that Russia will control the game, probably take the lead and then look to see the match out with the minimum of fuss. Russia will be mindful that the group decider will be played on Sunday, they won’t want injuries so it is hard to see them push for many goals as there is no need to, so am betting the Under 3 goals to be scored. I was very tempted to bet Cyprus too but I would require the odds to rise another bit in order to do so, so just leaving this match with the under 3 goals bet as the bet.
